TODAY'S STYLE CRUSH: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is set to be the hottest thing to hit the big screen, having being chosen to replace Megan Fox in the third and final installment in the Transformers franchise and as if that wasn’t enough - she has also been named the hottest woman of the year by Maxim magazine."It's a great title to have for a year and you can have some fun with it, I think," aceshowbiz.com quoted her as saying. The former Victoria's Secret lingerie model topped Maxim's annual Hot 100 list, beating Katy Perry, Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman and Megan Fox earlier this year and it’s not hard to see why. With lips that look like two freshly plumped hotel pillows, cat-like eyes and legs that go on forever – she’s absolutely stunning.

The blue-eyed 5ft 9ins star always looks elegant on the red carpet, favouring a classic eveningwear in subtle shades  - but she’s not afraid to do her own thing either and is regularly photographed in skinny jeans, wide floppy hats and edgy biker jackets. Now with the Transformers movie about to be released, she’s on the brink of international stardom. She told The Mirror: "I've seen the film now and it's put my mind at ease - it's fantastic. I still can't believe that I'm in it. I'm actually really ready for people to see it." As for what she does next, Rosie, 24, says: "I really don't know. There are offers - but it's a matter of choosing the right project. I've got so much to deal with right now that I can't even think about what I'm doing next."

HER RISE TO FAME:

The model first caught the eye of the West End agency Profile when doing work experience at the firm before taking her exams at Tavistock College.

The agency took her on in 2003, signing the schoolgirl to its fledgling New Faces division and getting her first big break in January 2004, when she travelled to New York for a fashion shoot with Teen Vogue.

She made her big catwalk debut alongside Naomi Campbell in New York in 2004.

In 2006, Rosie was tipped to be "the next Kate” after being picked as one of five international models to look out for.

In 2008 the then 21-year-old landed her first global advertising campaign as the female face of Burberry.

The model's star has continued to rise and she features in the upcoming colourful spring summer 2010 collection campaign from high street store Next.

Rosie has also modelled for labels including DKNY, Levis, Bloomingdale's, Abercrombie & Fitch, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Victoria's Secret.
